One of the things that makes Creatures of Delight's studio so popular is its unique "Create-a-Creature" workshops! Best described as a cross between building your own bear, and painting your own pottery, the workshops offer visitors to the studio the opportunity to be "hands on" and to take home something truly unique - something which they've made themselves.

Once a selection is made, instruction is given on painting and the many accessories available - from eyes, to hair, to feathers, to fur, etc.. All of these are included in the price! It's so easy even people who doubt their own ability wind up with something to be proud of!

The finished creature is given a tag upon which your name, your creature's name, and its date of birth can be written. It is then ready to take home with you!

The Basics In A Nutshell

Walk -ins- are welcome most days from 12-4pm. Call ahead about Sundays and other times.

Styles and Sizes- We always have a variety of styles and sizes available at all times. Choices run the gamut from puppets and dolls, to pencil and card holders. Styles are as varied as fish and frogs, to suns and stars, to dragons and trolls etc. Styles are offered on an "as available" basis. Specific items may be pre-ordered in advance to ensure availability.

Prices- Our prices range from $12-$30 for most items. Larger items are available upon request.

Ages- We recommend from 3 years of age and up. All materials used are non-toxic and geared toward not being messy BUT...

	Groups- We welcome groups anytime. We can easily accommodate groups of 40 or more. We have hosted everyone from the Shriners to the Southern Baptists, and have hosted birthday parties for ages from 3 to 40. We offer a number of Birthday and Team Building packages. Expect to spend about 90 minutes on your first visit. Between looking around, choosing your creature companion, and painting and accessorizing, an hour and a half seems to be about average.
